Daylily, "Watership Down"

Another fantastic purple. This too is featured in "Color Encyclopedia of Daylilies", as are a lot of my daylilies. This book was actually the source for finding the daylilies I wanted in my garden. I have many famous breeder stock, breakthrough daylilies in eyes and edges, and also in patterned eyes. This daylily is concord grape-purple blend with a white edge. It is 26 inches tall, and has a 6 inch bloom. It blooms early to mid-season, is fragrant, has extended bloom period, and is semi-evergreen.
